This is a goofy song that I recalled recently. Its by a group of musicians that formed for only one time for this one album. What was always funny about this song is its by a band called Action Figure Party and the album was called Action Figure Party and the song is called Action Figure Party. It was quite the mouthful for radio DJs.

I like the mix of jazzy sounds and electronic and fuzz sounds on the guitars. The music isn’t particularly complex but I like how it combines what I think of as almost “smooth jazz” which is boring normally and puts it with some rock and roll fuzz guitar sounds and synth and makes it sound really interesting.

And then just the silliness of a song about action figures having a party. Its just a fun song for the start of September.
