I love the guitar in this song. It sounds kind of complicated and yet repetitive. The song also swings between a faster pace to slowing down which adds to the building toward the end when the chorus repeats.
I love Sting’s voice. He is one of the few English artists that actually seems to have an accent even when he sings. Think about it a lot of singers like the Beatles don’t sound like they have an English accent when they sing.
I also love the concept of the song that sometimes we feel alone only to realize that a lot other people are lonely too. Though it seems a little sad to think about its nice to know we aren’t alone even in our loneliness.
