Full disclosure– this song is the first song I ever slow danced to with a boy. My first boyfriend ever in fact, so I may be more than just a little emotionally attached to this song.
But really in listening to it right now, I like it for its soothing nature. The vocals are so smooth. I am not sure if this is all thanks to the wonder of autotune or if the singers are that good but the sound is so soft to the ear, I feel like it could be a lullaby.
I love the piano underlying the song. It brings to mind the falling of rain drops. Everything about this song brings to mind water. Perhaps I am influenced by the video and lyrics but it really does have a flowing sound to it.
Just close your eyes and try not to fall asleep while you listen.
