The opening vocals are what really caught my attention when this song came on yesterday. They are so beautiful. And I love that with a kind of war cry the song immediately switches to full instruments and a much faster tempo.

I love the very 70’s synth sounds underlying the music. And the drums are awesome, there is clearly some cowbell in there (not to be cliche). And the guitar is so rock and roll with serious riffs. And then at the end of the song when the vocals are very high the drum comes in with the bass in big thumps with is so dramatic.

I also love songs with easy lyrics, the better for me to sing along in the car. And the term “the jig is up” is in the lyrics.
